為舞台而生的華麗戲服，謝幕後，任務完成，遂進入衣箱，沉沉睡眠，期待下一次登台，再­次擒獲觀眾目光。為了不讓這些戲服感到寂寞，兩廳院精心策畫，打開沉重衣箱，讓民眾有機會近距離接觸：­黑鬚馬偕的麻與鬚、莎樂美的七彩紗、張愛玲的浮華上海、茶花女的黑色哀愁，如一幕幕的­時代縮影。

一起在劇場服裝的舞台城堡中，穿梭古今、交織東西方元素，進入表演藝術的無垠想像。

The ephemeral splendor of the stage costumes come to life again in NTCH’s special exhibition. 

Featuring costumes from Mackay: The Black Bearded Bible Man, NSO Opera Salome, 
Fall for Eileen Chang and La dame aux Camelias, 
the collection allows the public to see the details of the costumes up close, 
as well as giving insight into the specific concerns of the designers. 

The short interviews with the makers of these costumes demonstrate how stage costumes go beyond the boundaries of time, space and cultures.
