我回到那一棟空著的房子

那裡很久以前就被海水淹沒了

有著 人魚出沒的痕跡

然後我開始 重複做著一個夢……

「我是在潮濕陰暗巷子裡長大的基隆小孩,

冬天起床的時候,可以感覺到棉被和牆壁都濕濕的,

那時候我以為全世界都是這樣。」

「我來自寒冷多風的遙遠丹麥,安徒生長大的地方。

我恨那個地方,他媽的太可愛太舒服了!」

《光年紀事:臺北-哥本哈根》,運用自丹麥埃爾西諾文化庭院(The Culture Yard)的4D Box浮空投影技術,在兩地創作者自2015年起的交流創作,歷經四階段的發展呈現,即將在2018年臺北藝術節世界首演。

這次是周東彥及狠劇場/狠主流團隊,繼《空的記憶》、《我和我的午茶時光》後,又一次科技劇場的慢工細活。

而這回,周東彥想要貼近觀眾的身邊,訴說一則遊蕩於光年之外的故事:關於兩個擦身而過的時空旅人,迴游於彼此的夢境,探撈那些想要記住、卻將要遺忘的舊日。

Chronicle of Light Year: Taipei-Copenhagen
 

I was back in that empty house

submerged by the sea long time ago

where one could see traces of mermaids.

Ever since, I’ve had the same dream over and over…

“I grew up in the damp, dark alleys of Keelung.

In the wintertime, one could feel the dampness in the quilts and walls when getting up.

I thought the whole world was like this back then.”

 

“I came from Denmark, the cold, windy place far away where Andersen grew up.

I hate that place. It’s too fucking cute and comfortable!”

 

After his critically acclaimed technology performances (Empty Memories; Teatime with Me, Myself and I), CHOU, Tung-Yen and his team ventured further into the field this time in the Taiwan-Denmark co-production, Chronicle of Light Year: Taipei-Copenhagen. The collaboration began in 2015. After four stages of development and work-in-progress presentations, it will officially premiere in the 2018 Taipei Art Festival.

The award-winning artist at the World Stage Design (Gold in Interactive & New Media Design) brings the visual vocabulary in this new creation to another level with the 4D Box Hologram developed by the Culture Yard, Denmark. It is a story about two time travelers and their intimate memories light years away. They linger in each other’s dreams, trying to hold on to those moments from the past. Moments that they don’t want to let go, yet are dissolving in the deep sea of oblivion.
